According to some news agency, the Malawian-born man of God was recognized for his business success on Saturday night at the 2018 Africa’s CEO Hall of Fame event, held at the Sandton Convention Centre.
The event is hosted by African Leadership magazine and recognizes “the Game-Changers, who are doing things differently towards re-positioning the African continent”, according to its website.
The awardees are nominated and voted for by the public.
The Prophet, also known as “the Major One”, established a business called Shepherd Bushiri Investments (SBI) in 2015, which has entities such as SB Hotels, SB Mining, SB Telecommunications, SB Beverages and SB Airways.
According to its website, it has investments in Britain, America and Dubai.
His investment company reportedly has assets worth $1, 2 billion (about R13, 9 billion).
